There are many other schools here in Batangas City. You can view a masterlist of Department of Education's accredited public and private schools including their phone numbers on DepEd's website. Please note that you have to choose All for school type otherwise the database will not show you any school. For a complete list of DepEd accredited Batangas schools, choose Region IV-A for Region and BATANGAS for Division.

You may see my review of the listed schools above on this site.

My two children already went to four different schools. We really didn’t like that to happen but it did happen because of our lack of preparation. It is not an easy task to find a good school. Parents really have to do their homework. Ask friends. Research on the internet. Sit-in a class you intend to put your child into. I think the latter is the best way to really see and feel if the school’s atmosphere fits into your child’s personality. Make sure to bring your child with you.

Here in the Philippines, it’s best to observe a classroom in the months of November, January and February when generally there are no class disruptions. In preschool, most especially, the children have already settled by this time. During these months, the teachers will not be busy with preparations for school events, tests, holidays, celebrations, graduations and closing programs. Some schools allow a free sit-in for 2 to a maximum of 5 days. Actually, I haven’t heard of any school that charges a fee for sitting –in. It’s best to call them ahead of time so that you and your child can be properly scheduled. Be wary of those schools that won't let you sit-in with your child.

  2. It's really nice of you to make a review of the different schools in Batangas City. This would really be a good guide for mothers/parents out there who are wanting to put their children to the best possible school. I wish I had seen your posts before I put my eldest child to school. He's graduating in elementary this school year 2011-2012 and like your kids he has been to 4 schools already. Now my problem is where to put him in high school. Will you be a dear and make a review of the different high schools in Batangas? Thanks..God bless you.

  3. Reviewing high schools in Batangas is a tough request. Most of my friends in Batangas City send their children to La Salle in Lipa while some go to Stonyhurst.
